What's Your Resolution?

I've never actually made or kept a New Year's resolution before b/c i thought it was stupid and pointless since nobody seems to keep them anyways. But this year I'm gonna opt to not be my usual asshole self and give it a try.

I see the positive about setting a goal for yourself and setting a date to start reachin for that goal instead of procrastinating. That leads me to my resolutions...

1) Stop making excuses: Excuses are the devil, they stop you from getting things done and moving forward

2) Save Money: Wu-Tang was right C.R.E.A.M. cash rules everything around me, not in the "make it rain" rapper type of way but the goals that I have for myself require money. So instead of spending money on dumb shit I'm gonna spend it when I NEED to not when I WANT to

3) Start seeing the World: I'm 25 years old and I haven't set foot on a plane yet, nuff said

As I'm writing this, I just realized that all my resolutions start with S, so I think I'll refer to them as the three S's from now on...seen lol

For those thinking of their resolutions, I suggest making it something attainable but not that easy for you. So that way you strive and see improvements throughout the year.

Been A Minute

I haven't had much time to write lately. I've been trying to get my ass in gear with everything in my life. I know it sounds like an excuse but it's the truth, I was broke, eating junk food all the time, drinking all the time and fucking up with girls on a regular basis. So I finally got fed up of not striving to be the best Boots I could possibly be and I said fuck it! I started back at the gym and I'm seeing some results (the kind only I can notice lol), I drastically changed my diet, stopped partying every weekend (it feels good to still see money in your account a week after payday), and I'm training myself to be more patient and understanding of the opposite sex (even though they're fucking stupid lol).

I guess the best part about me taking all theses steps to improving myself is knowing that I can. Realizing you're not a bum is a beautiful thing. Now I'm not saying everything is peachy all the time, shit still happens but I know now that I can get through it and continue to focus on my happiness.

Another reason why I haven't been writing much is the Stash House Movement. For any of y'all that follow this blog (which I know is very few right now lol) you may have noticed freestyles poppin up by my boy Castro. Well anyone that knows me knows that I don't just give my stamp of approval to everyone, you gotta be unique and that's why I'm rolling with him.

In the next coming weeks I'm giving fair warning that things are about to change in terms of what people expect from MC's. "Fallback" is the first single and I would appreciate any feedback from y'all cuz we going hard in '09!!!!!

Sweet Sweet Fantasy Baaaabaaayyy!!!!!

Ok so I'm kinda wildin with my title but for good reason. I recently discovered the beauty of fantasy basketball. I know it sounds kinda nerdy on some dungeons & dragons type shit but it's actually not that bad. If u think u know everything about ball, why not setup ur own fantasy squad against ur friends and put ur money where ur mouth is?

I started on NBA Stock Exchange and the concept is cool cuz they give everyone $300 to start purchasing players and depending on how the players do in the season their stock will rise and fall. The one thing they don't tell you is that the shit is mad addictive lol.

My squad is Boots Ballers (of course) and from time to time i'll post an update of how I'm doing in our league standings. Right now I'm in second place but it's a long season. Imma show u how to do this son!
